My collection
This project showcases a collection of hand-painted Warhammer miniatures. I painted each model from start to finish, including colour selection, detail work, shading, and basing. This demonstrates my ability to work with colour theory, fine detail, texture, and creative styling — skills that transfer directly into character and environment design for games.
Durthu, Eldest of Ancients
This was my first large miniature I painted and it is still the only named character from Warhammer Fantasy I have painted. Since Durthu has a set appearance, it was important that I attempt to copy the colours and characteristics directly to make the miniature be instantly recognisable as that set character.
Daemon Prince of Khorne
This character is the leader of my Warriors of Chaos army and as such needed to both stand out and hold up under the closest scrutiny while also clearly belonging to army. I achieved this by transferring many of the same armour painting techniques as the rest of the army onto the model while going the extra mile in highlights and details(including the addition of an extra giant skull in the princes left hand).
Glade Lord on Dragon
This is mini is the combination of two third party models to create the leader of my Wood Elf army. I spent a lot of time picking out colours for this model as although I knew I wanted it to be mostly green, determining which shades for each section of the dragon was important. I ended up choosing a dark green for the scales with accents of a turquoise for some visual variations and sticking to several shades of of lighter green for the leaves to make them stand out from the scales.
Chaos Knights of Khorne
The hardest challenge on these five miniatures was designing what to put on the banner. I came up with several ideas but eventually decided that the best looking option would be to stick with the simplest as this would translate best with my current skill level.
Chosen of Khorne
These five miniatures are my most recent project and the one I’m most proud of. These soldiers are supposed to be unique champions in their own right and to represent this I tried to give each of them something unique wherever possible such as glowing runes, the black mace instead of a regular metallic, the glowing hot sword and so on.
